Livingston's Own Studio C Hosts Classy Dance Recital Show, LIVINGSTON, June 8, 2008 - Livingston's own Studio C Dance Studio put on a classy recital show on Saturday evening at the Livingston High School Auditorium. Studio C currently has 75 students enrolled in their dance school ranging in ages from 4 to senior citizens. Owner and instructor Michelle Creech and instructor Rachael Mock Berry teach people choreography and dance. "Dance is discipline", Creech says. "Thank you, from the four-year-olds to the adult class and everyone in-between for showing up week after week and working. You're not just learning little dances, you're learning how to set a goal and achieve it". The dancers performed dance numbers ranging in style from Charlie Chaplain to Michael Jackson. Other performances included numbers performed by the Studio C Dancers that were made famous by Marilyn Monroe, Bette Midler, Liza Minelli, Frank Sinatra, Shirley Temple, Ray Charles, Debbie Reynolds, Tony Bennett, the Jackson Fives, Benny Goodman, Jerry Lee Lewis and a plethora of other famous notables. "Never settle for less than your best" is Creech's motto. The whole show went off beautifully and without a hitch and offered east Texans a distinct contrast from our small town rural life as the show was put on in big city, Big Apple Broadway style.
Registration for Fall classes begins August 11, 2008. For more information, you can contact Studio C at 936-328-7023, or stop by the studio at 304 South Washington in Livingston.
