Multiple Arrested on Drug and Firearm Charges, KICKAPOO FOREST, October 3, 2019 - Polk County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Division have recently been receiving numerous crimestoppers tips in reference to a residence dealing illegal narcotics in the kickapoo estates subdivision in Polk County.  According to the tips, individuals selling the narcotics were Jesus Brown, Glen Gray Dubose III, and Clayton Dubose.
 
On 10/01/2019, detectives began survelliance on a suspected residence for several hours and observed numerous vehicles come and go from the residence where the subjects would exit their vehicle, enter the residence, and after a short period of time, return to their vehicle and leave the residence.
 
Detectives were able to conduct a traffic stop on a vehicle that left the residence and gain probable cause in order to obtain a search warrant for the property in Kickapoo Forest Subdivision.
 
With an issued warrant, detectives, deputies with the patrol division, and Constable Pct. 2 Bill Cunningham went to the residence in Kickapoo Estates Subdivision to execute the search warrant.
 
When officers arrived, Glenn Dubose was observed leaving the residence in one of his vehicles.  Deputies conducted a traffic stop.  Dubose was taken into custody for traffic violations.
  
During the execution of the search warrant of the residence, Jesus Brown was found in the residence inside one of the bedrooms.  Clayton Dubose and Walter Durkiewicz, III were found in the back of the residence.  William Johnson was found in the garage apartment.
 
A search of the residences revealed a large amount of methamphetamine, marijuana, drug paraphernalia, two firearms, forged financial instruments, and stolen medication.
 
Jesus Brown is a convicted felon and is not allowed by law to own a firearm due to not reaching his fifth anniversary date from release or probation/parole.  Brown was charged with two counts of unlawful possession of a firearm by felon, as well as, one count of manufacture and/or delivery of a controlled substance.
 
Glenn Dubose, III was charged with manufacture and/or delivery of a controlled substance in penalty group one and traffic offenses.  Clayton Dubose and Walter Durkiewicz III were charged with possession of marijuana.
 
During the search William Schenk attempted to walk past deputies and enter the residence while ignoring the officers commands to stay away from the residence. Schenk was charged with interference with public duties.
