Charles William Lindsey, 64, of Livingston
Search Warrant Leads to Marijuana Arrest in Wild Country Subdivision, WILD COUNTRY, October 7, 2025 - On the evening of October 6, 2025, a night shift sergeant with the Polk County Sheriff’s Office received credible information about a resident in the Wild Country Subdivision who was reportedly in possession of a large amount of marijuana being shipped from out of state.

After verifying the information, the sergeant obtained a search warrant for the residence and requested assistance from the Narcotics Division. Deputies from the Patrol Division, assisted by Narcotics Detectives, executed the warrant and discovered approximately 2.25 pounds of high-grade marijuana inside the home.

Also seized were lab reports showing the marijuana’s high THC potency, multiple packaging bags and sealers, a money counter commonly used in drug transactions, and a large amount of U.S. currency bundled in a manner consistent with drug proceeds.

Charles William Lindsey, 64, of Livingston, was arrested and charged with Possession of Marijuana 2.25 lbs, (felony).

Sheriff Byron Lyons and Chief Deputy Anthony Lowrie expressed their appreciation to the citizens who continue to provide tips about illegal drug activity. They also emphasized that the Narcotics Division remains active and dedicated to reducing the sale and distribution of narcotics throughout Polk County.
