Wanted Felon Apprehended in Polk County, Found in Possession of Narcotics, Stolen Personal Information, Stoen Credit Card, SCENIC LOOP, February 19, 2025 - On February 14, 2025, detectives with the Polk County Narcotics and Criminal Investigation Division received credible information that wanted felon Kassey Jordan was staying at a residence under construction in the Scenic Loop area of Polk County.
When detectives arrived, they encountered a female subject at the front door who provided a false name and date of birth. She claimed Jordan had been at the location earlier but had left. As detectives secured the residence, they encountered a male suspect who also provided false identifying information.
During the investigation, the female suspect requested permission to retrieve clothing and identified a pair of sweatpants as hers. Upon retrieving the sweatpants, detectives discovered methamphetamine in one pocket and stolen checks from a nearby residence in the other. Additionally, a methamphetamine bong containing a large quantity of methamphetamine was observed in plain view.
Investigators used tattoo records to positively confirm that the female suspect was indeed Kassey Jordan, a wanted felon.
Arrests & Charges:
Kassey Jordan (42, unknown address) was arrested and charged with: 1. Possession of a Controlled Substance (felony) 2. Fraudulent Possession of 10-50 Credit/Debit Cards (felony) 3. Fraudulent Possession of Identifying Information 10-50 (felony) 4. Warrant - Texas Department of Criminal Justice (TDCJ) Pardon and Parole 5. Warrant - Burglary of a Building (Chambers County)
Jason Paul Kramer (47 of Baytown) was arrested and charged with: 1. Hindering Apprehension/Prosecution of a Known Felon (Felony 3) 2. Possession of a Controlled Substance PG1/1-B >4G<200G (Felony 2) 3. Warrant - Engaging in Organized Criminal Activity (Polk County)
Follow-Up Investigation: On February 18, 2025, detectives conducted a follow-up investigation on the stolen identifying information recovered from Jordan. They discovered that one victim had previously reported the theft of his camper trailer in a neighboring county, which contained his birth certificate, military awards, and passport. Detectives contacted the victim, confirming the recovery of his stolen documents, and also provided their counterparts in the neighboring county with Jordan’s identity as a suspect in the theft.
Additionally, detectives were contacted by a second victim who had seen the arrest of Kassey Jordan online and inquired about a missing debit card she had dropped inside a business. The victim was able to obtain surveillance footage from the store manager, showing a female matching Jordan’s description picking up the card and attempting to use it for a purchase. Detectives confirmed that the victim’s debit card was among the stolen items recovered during the search warrant execution. The victim was in the process of reporting the attempted debit card fraud, and local authorities were notified of the recovery.
Ongoing Investigation The Polk County Sheriff’s Office remains committed to combatting narcotics distribution, identity theft, and fraudulent activities. Further charges may be pursued as the investigation continues.
