Scenic Loop Man Busted for Child Pornography, LIVINGSTON, August 26, 2008 - On July 23, 2008 Captain Ricky Childers of the Polk County Sheriff's Office began an investigation into child pornography. The investigation led to a suspect's house in the Scenic Loop area. A search warrant was obtained and a laptop computer was seized in the suspect's house. The computer was sent to Lufkin Police Department and investigated by computer specialist Detective Otis Almond. Almond retrieved numerous photos of child pornography from the laptop computer. With the evidence in hand, on August 21st Robert Bruce Cameron, 39, of the Scenic Loop area was arrested and booked into Polk County Jail and charged with possession of child pornography. Cameron had 2 small children in his houe. The children were removed from the house and are in custody of Child Protective Services. Cameron is in jail with a $100,000 bond.
