JUVENILE FOUND! A Polk County Deputy found 11 year old Asher Mastalez walking. The Deputy spoke with the child, and transported him to the Goodrich Fire Station where a medical team checked Mastalez, cleared him, and returned him to his family unharmed.

11 Year Old Goodrich Boy Missing, GOODRICH, April 11, 2025 - An 11 year old Goodrich boy that was supposed to be in school is now missing. According to the child's mother, she was taking him to school (this morning, 04/11/25). She stated that he (Asher Mastalez, 11, of Goodrich) was extremely insistent that he not go. He ran away from her and disappeared near Goodrich School and has been missing since. Asher is reportedly wearing a teal blue hoodie, black pants, camo crocks, and a gray long-sleeve shirt under his hoodie. Polk County Sheriff's Deputies, State Troopers and other local law enforcement are in the vicinity searching for Asher. At time of press, the search continues.
