Dreams Did Come True For Two Local Sisters, LIVINGSTON, June 2, 2008 - Dreams did come true for two local sisters, Courtney and Kayla Hastings. The girls proudly represented the State of Texas during the National Dream Girl USA pageant in St. Louis, MO which was held May 22-26. Courtney brought home 4th runner up in Young American Miss and won the Application Award. Courtney also placed in the top five for Dream Girl Portofilo. Kayla brought home the love of being pretty and having fun. Courtney, South Texas Supreme Ambassador, is available to present her speech, From Foster to Adoption Dreams come true or perform her Annie presentation to any organization that would be interested. Kayla, South Texas Tiny Miss, is ready to sing too. Even though the pageant season is completed, they are already raising funds for next year. So, if you see Sweetie and Pies selling their baked goods this is their business. We are so proud of the girls..they demonstrated good sportsmanship, citizenship and most of all the love for each other. They cheer each other on as well as their new friends said Mom Kim.
