20 year old Courteney Hale of Conroe struck this guard rail off FM-350 North and was allegedly intoxicated.
Underage Drinker Rolls Vehicle Into Creek off FM-350 North, LIVINGSTON, November 29, 2013 - At approximately 2:30 am on November 29, 2013, a red 2008 Pontiac G6, driven by Courteney Leanne Hale, 20, of Conroe, was south-bound on FM-350 North.  Hale's vehicle left the pavement to the right, struck a guard rail, and continued right down into a gully where her vehicle flipped and came to rest upside down in a creek a few miles south of FM-942.  Americare Ambulance Service was dispatched to the scene along with Sergeant David Ramsey with the Polk County Sheriff's Office and Deputy Randy Turner, and Trooper Allen Stanton with the Texas Highway Patrol.  Hale and her passenger, Samantha Spriggs,19, of Livingston, crawled from their vehicle and refused transport by ambulance.  Trooper Stanton charged Courteney Hale with driving under the influence of alcohol and unsafe speed and placed her under arrest.  Hale later decided to go by Ambulance to Livingston Memorial Hospital to be checked out.  Samantha Spriggs was charged with underage drinking, public intoxication, and no seatbelt.  A rollback wrecker from Ken's Towing recovered Hale's vehicle and it will be stored at Harrison Body Shop in Livingston.
