The driver of this Volkswagen Jetta abruptly swerved across the next lane causing a 4 vehicle collision.
4 Vehicle Cluster Crash, No Injuries, GOODRICH, November 17, 2025 - At approximately 6:40 pm on November 17, 2025, the driver of a gray Volkswagen Jetta was north-bound on US-59 in the right hand lane, when the driver decided it would be a good idea to suddenly shoot across the left lane in order to get to a crossover. The driver shot across the left lane and collided with a north-bound gray 2023 Dodge Challenger. The challenger was knocked into a gray Lincoln MKC, the MKC was knocked into a gray 2023 Hyundai Santa Fe. All four vehicles came to rest on the left side of 59 north-bound side (three of the vehicles in the center median). Allegiance Ambulance Service was dispatched to the scene along with The Goodrich Volunteer Fire Department, the Polk County Sheriff's Office, and Troopers Cesar Davila and Damon Zarate with The Texas Highway Patrol. Amazingly, there were no injuries. Traffic on both sides of 59 were partially blocked during investigation and cleanup. There were four Wreckers, Ken's Towing, Pop's Wrecker Service, Kwik Tow, and Smith Towing at the scene to clean up the cluster mess. The driver of the Volkswagen is likely going to be cited for causing the crash and face a heap of insurance and legal issues.
The driver of this Volkswagen Jetta abruptly made a left swerve to the right lane and failed to yield to a gray 2013 Dodge Challenger. The vehicles collided and knocked the Challenger into another vehicle.
