2 Vehicle Crash, Unexpected Twist to Story, WEST TEMPE, November 6, 2025 - At approximately 1:03 pm on November 6, 2025, the driver of a cargo box truck was east-bound on US-190 West. The driver slowed to make a turn into the 4 Corners subdivision when he was slammed from behind by the driver of a blue Chevy Cruze. Allegiance Ambulance Service was dispatched to the scene along with Deputies from The Polk County Sheriff's Office, and Troopers Barnes, Swetnam, and Corporal Bass. Fortunately there were no injuries. As it turns out, the two men in the box truck were illegal aliens, neither had a driver's license, one had a fake passport, another had a cell phone picture of some kind of identification. ICE was summoned to the scene. Both men were taken into custody by ICE and transported from the scene. A rollback wrecker from Smith Towing recovered the Chevy Cruze.
