Car -vs- Pole, LIVINGSTON, October 16, 2008 - At approximately 1 am on October 16, 2008, a silver 2005 Dodge Neon driven by Georgia Lester, 37, of Livingston was North Bound on the 59 feeder at Highway 190 when she failed to maintain a single lane and slammed into a utility pole across the street from Whataburger just beneath the 59 overpass. The vehicle sustained heavy front end damage. Livingston Police Officers Sergeant Ronnie Bogany, Kevin Ward, and Darrell Newman were dispatched. An ambulance from Americare Ambulance Service arrived and treated Lester on the scene. One lane of traffic was blocked as the accident was being investigated and cleared. Lester as physically okay. Lester did have insurance and had her seatbelt fastened. She was issued citations for failure to maintain a single lane and driving without a license. Lester's vehicle was towed by Ken's towing and will be stored at Harrison's Body Shop in downtown Livingston. The scene was cleared by 1:40 am.
