Motorcycle Crash, 2 Flown, SCENIC LOOP, September 9, 2025 - At approximately 4:50 pm on September 9, 2025, a Yamaha Roadstar motorcycle (occupied by two men) was east-bound on FM-3277.  According to a witness, the motorcycle entered a curve going to fast and lost control as they were coming out of the curve.  The motorcycle left the pavement to the right and crashed near Commodore Cape Subdivision.   Both men were ejected.  It appears that neither man was wearing a helmet.  Allegiance Ambulance Service was dispatched to the scene along with The Scenic Loop Volunteer Fire Department, Deputies from The Polk County Sheriff's Office, and Trooper Cesar Davila with The Texas Highway Patrol.  Both men appeared to have sustained serious injuries.  A landing zone was set up at FM-3277 at FM-2457.  Both men were flown from the scene by Air Life Air Medical helicopters.  Traffic on 3277 was partially blocked during investigation and cleanup.  The identity of the two men have not yet been ascertained by the Highway Patrol.  A rollback wrecker from LakeView Towing recovered the motorcycle.  PolkCountyToday.com will update this story as soon as we receive the identity of the two men on the motorcycle.  This accident remains under investigation by The Texas Highway Patrol.

Two AirLife Air Medical helicopters landed at FM-2457 at FM-3277.
The motorcycle was recovered by LakeView Wrecker out of Livingston.
