Name Released from Auto / Pedestrian Fatality, LIVINGSTON, September 15, 2025 - The name of the lady who was struck and killed by a SUV on September 7, 2025, has been released. At approximately 4:45 am on September 7, 2025, Elizabeth Sherry Lee Guerette, 54, of Livingston, was crossing the road on 190 West (east of the 3126/190 caution light) and was struck by silver 2009 Volvo XC-90 driven by Janece Briggs, 72, of Point Blank. Sadly, Guerette was killed on impact. Briggs was not injured during the accident.  This accident remains under investigation by The Texas Highway Patrol.

Editor's Note: Elizabeth Guerette was homeless, but mostly staying in Livingston. In a situation like this, it can be hard to find next of  kin. In this case, they were traced to Florida. That's why it can take awhile.
