Vonessa Alsup, 32, of Livingston

Rollover Accident Caught on Video, No Injuries, Alcohol Suspected, MOORE HILL, July 23, 2023 - At approximately 8:50 pm on July 23, 2023, a tan 2000 Mercury Sable, driven by Vonessa Alsup, 32, of Livingston, was north-bound on FM-3126. Just as Alsup passed Windomere Road, her vehicle left the pavement to the right, went into a ditch and rolled. The vehicle came to rest upright facing its opposite direction of travel. Alsup climbed out of the vehicle under her own power and sat down in the grass uninjured. Deputy Simon Prince with the Polk County Sheriff's Office was dispatched to the scene along with Trooper Johnny Wilkerson with the Texas Highway Patrol. As it turns out, Alsup was charged and arrested for driving while intoxicated (alcohol). A rollback wrecker from Ken's Towing recovered Alsup's vehicle and it will be stored at Harrison Body Shop in Livingston.
