Trooper Chad Seamans was summoned at 2 in the morning to investigate a rollover.
Pharmaceutical Truck Turns Over, GOODRICH, June 23, 2015 - At approximately 1:45 am on June 23, 2015, a large cargo truck driven by Eduardo Garcia, 43, of Houston, was north-bound on US-59 in the vicinity of Goodrich (a short distance south of the 1988 overpass).  According to Garcia, he swerved to avoid a deer and left the pavement to the left.  His wheels dug into the ground and caused his truck to turn over on its passenger's side and came to rest facing south.  Americare Ambulance Service was dispatched to the scene along with Deputy Cedric McDuffie with the Polk County Sheriff's Office and Trooper Chad Seamans with the Texas Highway Patrol.  Fortunately, Garcia was physically okay and refused medical treatment.  Garcia was transporting a large quantity of pharmaceuticals to Shreveport, Louisiana.  Traffic on the north-bound side of 59 was partially blocked as a heavy duty wrecker from Clifton Chevrolet, out of Corrigan began to clean up the mess.  At time of press (4 am) the mess is being cleaned up.

In June of 2008, an ice truck very similar to this turned over just south of Livingston.

Pallets of pharmaceutical containers lay on their sides inside the cargo bay of Eduardo Garcia's truck.
