Vehicles Crash on 190 East, BEECH CREEK, June 2025 - At approximately 1:12 pm on June 20, 2025, a gray 2016 Ford Expedition driven by Christina Laird, 32, of Livingston, was east-bound on US-190 East. Laird's vehicle suddenly struck a black 2025 BMW X7 driven by Laura Yadira Vallejo Herrera, 35, of Tyler. Herrera was also east-bound on 190 ahead of Laird when Herrera attempted a U-turn in front of Laird. The vehicles collided. Herrera's vehicle came to rest on the pavement while Laird's vehicle crashed into a chain-link fence around a radio tower. Allegiance Ambulance Service was dispatched to the scene along with The Livingston Volunteer Fire Department, Deputies from The Polk County Sheriff's Office, and Corporal Ramey Bass with The Texas Highway Patrol. There were no serious injuries. Herrera was transported by private vehicle to CHI Livingston Memorial Hospital as a precautionary measure. Herrera is facing a citation for the unsafe U-turn. Herrera's vehicle was recovered by Kwik Tow out of Livingston, while Laird's vehicle was recovered by Fawbush Wrecker out of Goodrich.

35 year old Laura Herrera, of Tyler, was driving this 2025 BMW X7 east-bound on US-190 East when she attempted an unsafe U-turn in front of another east-bound vehicle.
32 year old Christina Laird, of Livingston, was driving this 2016 Ford Expedition when Herrera attempted the U-turn in front of her causing a collision. Laird's vehicle left the pavement on the west-bound side and crashed into this fence.
Herrera's vehicle was recovered by Kwik Tow out of Livingston.
Laird's vehicle was recovered by Fawbush Wrecker out of Goodrich.
