18 Wheeler Loaded with Bell Peppers Turns Over on Business 59, LIVINGSTON, June 20, 2024 - At approximately 2:21 pm on June 20, 2024, the driver of an 18 wheeler was north-bound on Business 59 when he drifted off the pavement to the right and snapped a utility pole. The impact caused the 18 wheeler to turn over on its passenger's side and came to rest on Business 59 at Garner Street. Allegiance Ambulance Service was dispatched to the scene along with the Livingston Volunteer Fire Department, and officers from the Livingston Police Department (including Police Chief, Matt Parish). The driver and his young passenger were trapped in the cab. Firemen cut the windshield out which freed the occupants who stepped out unharmed. At time of press (3:40 pm), the mess has traffic partially blocked on Business 59 as the huge mess is being cleaned up.
