NAME RELEASED FROM DWI/ACCIDENT: The name has been released from yesterday's accident involving a blue Dodge pickup that blew a red light, side swiped another vehicle, then rear ended another vehicle. Dubois Demarcus Lyon, 33, of Livingston, was arrested and charged with causing the accident and charged with driving while intoxicated. Two people were transported by ambulance to CHI Livingston Memorial Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Pickup Driver Blows Red Light, Strikes 2 Other Vehicles, Intoxication Suspected, LIVINGSTON, May 19, 2025 - Shortly after 1 pm on May 19, 2025, the driver of a blue Dodge Ram pickup was east-bound on 190 East and allegedly blew a red light, side swiped a black GMC Yukon, then rear ended a tan Chevy Tahoe. Officer Shawn Wood with The Livingston Police Department quickly arrived on the scene and spoke to the driver of the Dodge and immediately identified intoxication. The smell of alcohol, and numerous physical signs were plainly there. Officer Wood placed the man (name not yet released) under arrest for suspicion of driving while intoxicated. Two people were transported to CHI Livingston Memorial Hospital as a precautionary measure. The Chevy Tahoe was recovered by LakeView Wrecker Service out of Livingston, while the Dodge pickup was recovered by Kwik Tow out of Livingston (the GMC Yukon was driven from the scene). We'll update this story with the alleged intoxicated driver's name as soon as it's made available.
