UPDATE: Crash Turned Fatal, Names Released, LIVINGSTON, May 6, 2025 - The information on yesterday's major accident on Pan American Drive has been released. At approximately 3 pm a 2011 Ford Flex, driven by Jennifer Dixon, 78, of Livingston, was south-bound on Pan American Drive when a 2012 Accura MDX, driven by Daniel McFall, also 78, of Livingston, pulled off of Redbird Street directly in front of Dixon. Dixon's vehicle slammed broadside into McFall's driver's side. McFall was rushed to CHI Livingston Memorial Hospital where he later passed away. Justice of the Peace, Robert "Dooley" Johnson filed an inquest. Dixon and her 2 passengers were also transported to CHI with non-life-threatening injuries. A passenger in McFall's vehicle was also transported to CHI with non-life-threatening injuries. This accident remains under investigation by the Livingston Police Department.

Major Accident on Pan American Drive, LIVINGSTON, May 5, 2025 - At approximately 3 pm on May 5, 2025, the driver of a silver 2011 Ford Flex was south-bound on Pan American Drive when the driver of a silver 2012 Accura MDX pulled off of Redbird Street directly in front of the Ford. The Ford broadsided the Accura. The impact spun the Accura around sending it into the center median where it came to rest facing its opposite direction of travel. The Ford came to rest on the pavement. Allegiance Ambulance Service was dispatched to the scene along with the Livingston Volunteer Fire Department Heavy Rescue Unit, Deputies from the Polk County Sheriff's Office, Local State Troopers, and Officers from Livingston Police Department (including Police Chief, Matt Parish). According to witnesses, multiple people have serious injuries. All traffic on that stretch of Pan American (south-bound side) is blocked while investigations proceed.
