Officer Lenneth Gardner with Livingston PD placed a very unhappy 31 year old Julie Ann Johnson (of Montgomery) under arrest for felony DWI.
Heavily Intoxicated Driver Takes Curve Too Fast, Charged with Felony DWI, LIVINGSTON, May 3, 2013 - Shortly after 5 pm on May 3, 2013, the driver of a white 2001 Chrysler Sebring attempted to negotiate the U-Turn curve underneath the overpass near Livingston Junior High.  The vehicle (driven by Julie Ann Johnson, 31, of Montgomery), left the road and slid into the weeds facing south.  Americare Ambulance Service was dispatched to the scene along with Officers Lenneth Gardner and Brandon Brewer with the Livingston Police Department.  Fortunately, Johnson, nor her young son were injured.  Officer Gardner performed a field sobriety test on Johnson and placed her under arrest for suspicion of driving while intoxicated.  The presence of her son in the car (under the age of 15) automatically makes this a felony DWI.  Johnson was driven to Livingston Memorial Hospital for a mandatory blood withdrawal.  Johnson's vehicle was recovered by Ken's Towing and will be stored at Harrison Body Shop in Livingston.

Special thank you:  Ken with Ken's Towing

Johnson's 2001 Chrysler Sebring sits in the grass at the curve near Livingston Junior High School.
Johnson rebuked our camera man for taking her picture.
Johsnon was believed to be intoxicated on pills. Her speech was slurred and hardly coherent.
Johnson had her 13 year old son in the car (being intoxicated with a minor in the car automatically elevates the DWI to a felony).
Houdini was upset.
