Trooper Joe Cole listens to 69 year old Jose Montalvo of Livingston.
Driver Goes Over Guard Rail and Rolls Truck, LIVINGSTON, April 21, 2011 - At approximately 5:15 pm on April 21, 2011, an older model Chevy S-10 driven by Jose Antonio Montalvo, 69, of Livingston, was south-bound on FM-350 North when his vehicle veered to the right, struck a guard rail, went over the guard rail and rolled 2 times.  Montalvo's vehicle came to rest upright facing north at the bottom of an embankment in a ditch.  Americare Ambulance Service was dispatched to the scene along with DPS Troopers Joe Cole and David Flowers and were joined by Texas Game Warden, Ryan Hall.  EMS personnel checked Jose Montalvo but Montalvo refused treatment and waived ambulance services.  One lane of traffic was blocked during investigation and cleanup.  Montalvo was cited for failure to maintain a single lane of traffic.  A rollback wrecker from Fawbush Wrecker Service attempted to recover Montalvo's vehicle, but the vehicle was hung on a tree stump.  Another wrecker from Ken's Towing was summoned and it took two wreckers to dislodge the old truck.  Montalvo's vehicle will be stored at Fawbush Body Shop in Goodrich.

Special thank you:  Ken from Ken's Towing
