UPDATE: The Other Details on Semi / Food Truck Crash...
Earlier this morning (03/26/25) the driver of an 18 wheeler pulled out of the truck stop in Goodrich and failed to yield to an oncoming pickup that was pulling a food trailer. The vehicles collided, no life threatening injuries. The driver of the 18 wheeler was Down Quinn, 39, of Houston, and the driver of the pickup was Wayne Closson, 60, of Terre Haute, Indiana. The 18 wheeler was allowed to drive away from the scene for nearby repairs to its wheels. The pickup and trailer were recovered by Smith Towing. Down was cited for failing to yield to the food truck.

Food Truck vs 18 Wheeler, GOODRICH, March 26, 2025 - At approximately 6:25 am on March 26, 2025, the driver of a white heavy-duty Chevy Silverado pickup (pulling a food trailer) was north-bound on US-59. As the pickup was passing the Goodrich Truck Stop, an 18 wheeler pulled out of the truck stop and failed to yield to the north-bound pickup. The driver of the pickup cut left but the collision was unavoidable. The impact caused the pickup/food trailer to go into the center median where it jack-knifed. The driver of the 18 wheeler pulled to a stop in the left lane. Allegiance Ambulance Service was dispatched to the scene along with Corporal Ramey Bass with The Texas Highway Patrol. Trooper Bass was soon assisted by Trooper Sean Barnes and Sergeant Ethan McAdoo and Deputy Trent Jones. Additionally, Livingston Police Officer, Chris Simms happened to be passing by and stopped to assist. The crew in the pickup appeared to have minor injuries only. The driver of the 18 wheeler is likely facing a citation for failing to yield to the oncoming truck.
