2 Car Accident, 1 Passenger Flown, a Driver Arrested, WEST LIVINGSTON, March 21, 2025 - At approximately 5:40 pm on March 21, 2025, an orange 2018 Jeep Sport, driven by Eric Thomas, 43, of Livingston, was east-bound on FM-3126. Thomas slowed down to make a left turn on to Sun Dance Road when he was slammed from behind by a gray 2016 Scion TC driven by Marco Ramos-Coroxon, 37, of Houston. Allegiance Ambulance Service was dispatched to the scene along with Deputies from the Polk County Sheriff's Office, and Troopers Nick Hatton and Simon Mijares with The Texas Highway Patrol. One person was flown, Ramos-Coroxon's passenger, Claudia Shancoy was flown by Air Life medical helicopter to Conroe. Trooper Hatton placed Ramos-Coroxon under arrest for no driver's license and no insurance. Traffic on 3126 was blocked during investigation and cleanup. Pop's Wrecker Service out of Livingston was summoned to clean up the mess. Ramos-Coroxon is likely facing a citation for failure to control speed.

43 year old Eric Thomas, of Livingston, was driving this 2018 Jeep Sport east on FM-3126 and was about to make a left turn when he was slammed from behind by Ramos-Coroxon (Trooper Simon Mijares pictured speaking with Thomas).
An Air Life Air Medical Helicopter landed on FM-3126.
Ramos-Coroxon's passenger, Claudia Sancoy, was flown to Conroe.
Trooper Nick Hatton placed Marco Ramos-Coroxon under arrest.
