Vehicles Collide on 190 West, LIVINGSTON, March 21, 2023 - At approximately 7:30 pm on March 21, 2023, the driver of a black Ford F-350 was east-bound on US-190 West. As the truck was passing through the intersection of 350 South at 190, the driver of a silver Honda Accord pulled directly in front of the Ford pickup (made a left turn from the west-bound lanes attempting to get to 350 South). The pickup (which had a modified lift kit with large tires) struck and drove over the hood of the Honda. The pickup then continued east and turned over, coming to rest upside down in the road. Allegiance Ambulance Service was dispatched to the scene, along with the Livingston Volunteer Fire Department Heavy Rescue Unit, Deputies from the Polk County Sheriff's Office, and Sergeant Chris Simmons, and Officers Taryn Lopez, and Jordi Lebouef with Livingston Police Department. It is not yet clear which vehicle ran a red light. Fortunately, there were no injuries. All traffic on the east-bound side of 190 was blocked during investigation and cleanup. Both vehicles were recovered by Smith Towing and was assisted by Country Boy Towing. This accident is still under investigation by the Livingston Police Department.
