3 Car Crash, GOODRICH, March 15, 2026 - At approximately 4:19 am on March 15, 2026, the driver of a gray 2018 Nissan Rogue was north-bound on US-59. The driver had slowed down due to one of her passenger having exited the vehicle in an apparent domestic dispute. The slow moving vehicle was slammed from behind by a maroon 2021 Chevy Malibu (near Air Castle Road). The Chevy Malibu was slammed from behind by a black 2017 Nissan Altima. Allegiance Ambulance Service was dispatched to the scene along with The Livingston Volunteer Fire Department, Deputies from The Polk County Sheriff's Office, and Trooper Terrence Dickens with The Texas Highway Patrol. All vehicle occupants were checked by EMS personnel and none were hospitalized. The right lane of traffic was blocked during investigation and cleanup. None of the vehicle occupants were Polk County Residents. The vehicles were recovered by Ken's Towing, Smith Towing, and Dan's Towing (all out of Livingston). This accident remains under investigation by The Texas Highway Patrol.
The driver of this 2018 Nissan Rogue had slowed down and was having an apparent dispute with her male passenger who had exited the vehicle when she was slammed from behind.
The Nissan Rogue was slammed from behind by this 2021 Chevy Malibu.
The Chevy Malibu was slammed from behind by this 2017 Nissan Altima.
