Large Truck Turns Over on 59, GOODRICH, February 11, 2026 - At approximately 9:40 am on February 11, 2026, the driver of a large utility bucket truck was south-bound on US-59 (a short distance south of the Goodrich Truckstop). The driver was in the left lane and decided to move to the right lane. As the driver was veering into the right lane, he noticed a vehicle in his blind spot and cut his wheel back left and lost control. The utility truck, driven by Ryan Brown, 27, of Livingston, turned over on its driver's side and slid around 40 feet on the pavement as it came to rest partially on the pavement and partially in the center median. Allegiance Ambulance Service was dispatched to the scene along with Deputies from the Polk County Sheriff's Office, and Troopers Corporal Ramey Bass, Sean Barnes, and Cody Moore with The Texas Highway Patrol. Brown was complaining of numbness in his right arm and was checked by EMS personnel and released at the scene. The left lane of traffic was blocked during investigation and cleanup. A heavy-duty wrecker from LakeView Towing was summoned to clean up the mess. No citations have been issued as the accident remains under investigation by The Texas Highway Patrol.
