Driver's Name Released from Fatal Crash, BEACON BAY, February 4, 2026 - The driver's name that was involved in a single vehicle rollover crash on February 1, 2026 has been released. At around 11:30 pm on February 1, 2026 a 1991 Jeep Wrangler, driven by Michael Ferrick, 59, of Cripple Creek, Colorado, was east-bound on FM-3126 when he left the pavement to the right, and rolled his vehicle. Ferrick was ejected during the rollover and sustained massive injuries. Ferrick was rushed to CHI Livingston Memorial Hospital where he passed a way shortly after arrival. While the crash remains under investigation, it still isn't known what caused Ferrick to leave the pavement.

A driver rolled his jeep as it came to rest in a residential driveway off FM-3126 (near Windomere Lane).
Driver Succumbs to Injuries From Accident, BEACON BAY, February 2, 2026 - At around 11:30 pm on February 1, 2026, the driver of a 1991 Jeep Wrangler (driver's name not yet released) was east-bound on FM-3126 when his Jeep left the pavement to the right, went into a ditch and rolled (near Windomere Lane). During the rollover the driver was ejected from the vehicle. Deputies from The Polk County Sheriff's Office were the first emergency responders on the scene and began chest compressions as the driver was not breathing and unresponsive. Allegiance Ambulance Service was summoned along with The Livingston Volunteer Fire Department Heavy Rescue Unit, and Trooper Simon Mijares with The Texas Highway Patrol. The driver was loaded into an ambulance and rushed to CHI Livingston Memorial Hospital where he passed away shortly after arrival. One lane of traffic on 3126 was blocked during investigation and cleanup. The vehicle was recovered by Ken's Towing out of Livingston.
