37 year old Crystal May Mattox, of Scenic Loop, slammed into the back of a pickup and trailer that was broke down on the shoulder of FM-2457.
Car Slams Into Trailer, 1 Hospitalized, BLANCHARD, January 31, 2017 - At approximately 3:55 am on January 31, 2017, a black 2010 Pontiac Vibe, driven by Crystal May Mattox, 37, of Livingston, was north-bound on FM-2457 near Blue Double X Road.  Mattox's vehicle veered onto the shoulder and slammed into the back of a pickup (tan Ford F-250) that had a trailer attached.  The impact left Mattox's vehicle partially up inside the trailer.  Allegiance Ambulance Service was dispatched to the scene along with Sergeant Craig Taylor with the Polk County Sheriff's Office and Corporal Ramey Bass with the Texas Highway Patrol.  Mattox was transported by ambulance to CHI Livingston Memorial Hospital with undisclosed injuries.  Traffic on 2457 was not blocked during investigation and cleanup.  Mattox may be facing citations for driving with a suspended license and failure to maintain a single lane of traffic.  Matttox's car and the pickup/trailer were recovered by LakeView Wrecker and will be stored in Livingston.
