After 27 Years as a Trooper, Ricky Thigpen to Retire, LIVINGSTON, March 7, 2008 - After 27 years of being a trooper (23 years in Livingston), Ricky Thigpen, 50,  will soon retire.  Thigpen and his wife Darla have 3 children (Jake, 22, Zack, 20, and Victoria, 16).  Thigpen has spent the last eleven years as a Compliance Review Trooper, he helped keep our roads safe by auditing trucking companies for Department of Transportation Regulation Compliance.  Thigpen says he's not yet ready for the rocking chair as he will be a private consultant in his own business, Compliance Solutions, and he can still assist trucking companies in complying with the Department of Transportation regulations.
