On July 4 the Polk County Tea Party will beparticipating in several events. At 10 am we will march as a group in the downtown red white and blue parade. We would love for as many people as can to join us. We will meet at 9 am on east north street by the Presbetyrian Church one block off of North Washington street. Bring your signs and join us as we exercise our first ammendment rights. After the parade we will gather up at Pedigo Park on US-59 bypass just north of Wal-Mart for a Fourth of July picnic . We will be serving hot dogs , drinks and watermelon. There will be live music as well as patriotic speakers. We will also have a sign making area set up with a limited amount of supplies to make signs to take to the Lufkin event and for future engagements. This event is free however we will have a donation box set up for those of you who would like to help defray expenses and help fund future engagements. We would like to thank Doctor and Mrs Ronald Tolls owners of EXTRA MILE RANCH and Doctor and Mrs Lloyd Dickens of POLK COUNTY CHRISTIAN ACADEMY for their extremely generous support for this event. The picnic should be over around 230 pm.we will leave and then come back to Pedigo Park at 4:15 pm and caravan to the expo center in Lufkin tx to join eleven other counties for the EAST TEXAS TEA PARTY FREEDOM RALLY. QUICK PARADE NOTE; We will have two hayride trailers available for those who are elderly or unable to march in the parade but would still like to be a part of the event; EVERYBODY WHO WANTS TO MARCH IN THE PARADE PLEASE CALL THE # ABOVE .
