MY KIDS PARTICIPATED IN THE TRINITY NECHES LIVESTOCK SHOW LAST WEEK,THIS WAS THERE SECOND YEAR.
MY SON HAYDEN STANFORD WON GRAND CHAMPION STEER WON JR SHOWMANSHIP WITH THE STEER RESERVE CHAMPION LAMB WON JR SHOWMANSHIP.

THIS IS A GREAT ACHIEVEMENT, THE STEER WAS OUR FIRST YEAR, WE WORKED REALLY HARD AND HE STAYED IN THE BARN EVERYDAY WITH THESE ANIMALS ABOUT TWO HOURS A DAY. INTERESTING FACT IS THAT END OF JANUARY BEGINNING OF FEBRUARY AT THE PRACTICE IN THE PINES SHOW HAYDEN WAS THE TALK BECAUSE THE STEER DRUG HIM AROUND LIKE A RAG DOLL, BUT AT THE TNLS THIS YEAR HE WAS DRAGGING THE STEER AROUND LIKE A PUPPY.

Shelby Walker receives a trophy!
Shelby Walker receiving her trophy for her school art work at the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo on March 6, 2010. Over 300,000 pieces were submitted and Shelby was one of only 681 kids that received an award for their art work.
Shelby is a 4th grader at Corrigan-Camden. Shelby's art will be displayed in the Hayloft gallery throughout the Rodeo. Shelby is the daughter of Rodney & Schelana Walker and the grand-daughter of Steve & Lezli Myers of Moscow and Eric & Kay Kranking of Livingston.
