Dollar General Store Robbed, LIVINGSTON, February 4, 2010 - At approximately 7 pm on February 4, 2010, the Dollar General store located at 1207 North Washington in Livingston was allegedly robbed. According to store personnel, the robber was a middle aged black female wearing dark pants and a gray hoodie. The victims told the Polk County Sheriff's Office that the female robber partially displayed a pistol (they could see the handle of the gun), and kept the rest of the gun concealed under her clothing, pointed at a store manager. The robber then fled the scene and disappeared in the vicinity across the street near a small establishment called the Royal Inn. Policemen from Livingston Police Department, the Polk County Sheriff's Office, Constables and DPS Troopers immediately combed the area diligently searching for the suspect.
