Richards Auto Electric was established in 1945 in Crockett, Texas and later expanded to shops in Palestine, Longview, Jasper, Cleveland and opened here in Livingston in 1962 in a small 1 stall garage and workshop on creek drive and built a new building on Pan American in 1970.
Rocky and his brother Shannon are 3rd generation automotive electrical technicians. We rebuild alternators, generators, and starters. We also sell interstate batteries. In 1975 Richard's Auto Electric expanded their facilities and their trade into exhaust work and complete auto repair.
Rocky's father, Charles, owned and operated Livingston Richard's Auto Electric until his death in 1987 at which time son Rocky took the reins and has carried on his father's legacy of honesty and quality since.
