Oatmeal Mixture that Willie has for Breakfast Every Morning
I've been getting email from good folks wanting to know more about that oatmeal mixture that I have for breakfast every morning.
Here it is:
I use 1 heaping cup of quick oats straight from the box, uncooked. (quick oats are the same thing as old fashioned oats, they're just sliced thinner so they cook quicker). I prefer the quick oats because I get a smoother texture.
6 ice cubes (from my refrigerator's ice maker. They're actually not cubes, but those skinny ones).
Approximately 2 tablespoons of sugar.
1 banana
milk (whichever kind you prefer. I use 2%)
Blend for 1 - 2 minutes and pour over your favorite cereal (I prefer bran flakes).
Enjoy! Willie
