Housefire on Brock Street Torches Interior of Elderly Woman's Home, LIVINGSTON, March 9, 2008 - According to witnesses, a housefire on Brock Street totaled the interior of an Elderly woman's home on March 8, 2008.  Josephine Bookman, 67, of Livingston lived in the home on 630 Brock Street (just off of Business 59 South).  Witnesses said at approximately 5 pm the fire started in the garage and came through a living area wall of the four bedroom home.  Within minutes, the interior of the house was ablaze.  Livingston Volunteer Fire Department was alerted and arrived with 4 pump trucks to battle the fire.  Both ends  of the area on Brock were blocked off as emergency personnel worked to put out the fire.  Bookman did not have homeowner's insurance and allowed other relatives to live in the home with her.  For now, Bookman will be living at her daughter's home (Annie Bookman).
