Appraisal District New Board of Directors Sworn In, LIVINGSTON, January 22, 2008 - At 5:15 pm on January 22, 2008, Carolyn Allen, Chief Appraiser, swore in a new board of directors. The new board of directors all meet certain prequalifications 2 of which are: No director can be delinquent on their taxes, and, no director can be related to the Cheif Appraiser, Carolyn Allen. The swearing in ceremony went off without a hitch and immediately afterward the new board eagerly got on with business in their first meeting.
The new directors are:
Kathie Freeman (represents Livingston I.S.D), Clarke Evans (represents Polk County), Bid Smith, Tax Assessor, Glen Goodwin (represents Big Sandy I.S.D.), Harlon Parrish (represents Corrigan Camden I.S.D.), Tom Curran (represents Onalaska I.S.D.).
